At the 2021 New York City Poetry Festival on Governors Island, Kiba performed a live reading of two original poems, "The Bird" and "Light Reflex #6." The performance was part of a collaborative showcase, where she shared the stage with fellow acclaimed poets JP Howard, Sherese Francis, and Allia Matta.
