O.B.E. / Desatar / Jisei (自生) is a poetry performance that incorporates spoken word in multiple languages (English, Spanish, and Japanese), found objects, sound, and movement. Through the act of creating a ritual, I explore rapping as a medium for storytelling.
Mixed Poetics 3: Body is a project of music performance and video project. I contributed a new poetry performance debuting rap as a serious artistry. Installed props created a ritual space where multilingual spoken word (EN/JP/SP), found-object sound, and movement synchronized rhythmically, lyrically, with environmental resonance. This project is curated by Miah Artola.
